Hi Guys,

Sorry, It takes me so long, but a lots of things happened: I finished my law course, I packed my stuff for summer, I landed on Tuesday in Sicily, and I took an horrible fever....Anyway I am back!

I told to you that I love wild travel, I prefer natural places more then occidental city or metropolis. I found in these placess something we lost in every day life, the contact with natrure, with the simple life and with what characterize and make different people from all over the world.

Today I propose you my travel in Morocco, did in 2008, when unfortunately I haven't yet my camera, but I hope to give you the beautiful sensation that this country gave me.

I visited the Imperial city of Morocco: Fes, Marrakech, Casa blanca, Rabat.

Ciao a tutti!!! ri-eccomi dopo un paio di settimane di fuoco, che mi hanno vista impegnata nella fine del corso per l'abilitazione, nella preparazione delle valigie per tornare a casa e a conclusione mi sono beccata anche una bella influenza!

Saltando gli inconvenevoli, oggi ripenso al viaggio in Marocco fatto nel 2008, uno di quei viaggi "wild" come piacciono a me. Il Marocco è una terra ricca di sapori e odori e colori molto particolari, una cultura molto diversa dalla nostra e per questo molto affascinante...

Ho visitato le città imperiali, Fes, Marrakech, Rabat e Casa Blanca ed oggi partiamo con Fes....

SUBIACO, ITALIA

Goodmorning guys!How are you today? I'm a bit sick, but after a couple of rainy days finally today there's the sun! I would like to show you a singular day spent in a small city near to Rome, Subiaco.

I didn't expected to find this small city so cute and intresting.

Go through with order... I recieved for my birthday a Smartbox, and of course I choose the most adventurous experience of the proposals: Rafting and trekking.

It wasn't my first time of rafting, I did once when I was in Brasil, in the Iguassu foz, (it was amazing!), but I have to say that also the experience in Subiaco was so nice!

Subiaco is a small city, one hour from Rome (take metro B to Ponte Mammolo and then a Bus of Cotral group for Subiaco) we  arrived in early morning and we found a small city built in the middle of the mountains with a cute river.

The organization for raffting was perfect, and also the path. We enjoy so much the river (usually during summer you can swim there and after the descent of the river the Vivere l'Aniene gorup organize a huge open grill in a small area near the river.

We decide to eat something on the route because after the rafting descent we expected a long walk to join, on the top of the Monte Clavo, the Benedectine monasteries.

I discovered that the first monastery of San Francesco D'Assisi was Built there (in honour of her sister, Santa Scolastica) and after the death of San Francesco it was built another beutiful one around the little stone quarry in which San Francesco lived three years of his life in solitude.

The place and the landscape is breathtaking!

For all of you that visit Rome and want to do something different I absolutely suggest to do this little trip of a day, and if you are with your a car in the way back you can stop in Tivoli another beautiful small city in which you have to visit Villa D'Este (I show you a picture in the post of ROMA)

Ciao a tutti!! oggi mi piacerebbe raccontarvi della bellissima giornata passata in un piccolo borgo mediavale vicino Roma, Subiaco!

Per il mio compleanno ho ricevuto una smartbox, e dopo varie "riflessioni" su quale attività scegliere, mi sono orientata per una giornata di rafting e trekking!

Il pacchetto prevedeva una bella discesa di rafting lungo il fiume Aniene e una camminata intraprendente alla volta dei monasteri benedettini.

Devo ammettere che sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa, non conoscevo Subiaco e quest'organizzazione è stata perfetta!

Per arrivare abbiamo preso la metro linea B con fermata Ponte Mammolo e da li abbiamo preso l'autobus della Cotral con direzione Subiaco. Siamo giunti dopo un'oretta di strada in questo piccola città situata a circa 408 m. su un colle alla destra dell'Aniene, alle falde del Monte Calvo. Il paese ha conservato un aspetto tipicamente medievale, con stradine strette, case con scala esterne e vecchi portali.

Proprio in riva al fiume ha sede il gruppo Vivere l'Aniene che ha organizzato la nostra discesa, divertentissima ed entusiasmante (se avete l'opportunità di andare nel periodo estivo, l'acqua è pulitissima per una bella nuotata e a fine discesa si organizzano spesso delle grigliate in compagnia del gruppo!)

Abbiamo poi deciso di comprare un pò di deliziosa porchetta da mangiare una volta giunti in cima alla montagna per visitare i monasteri benedettini.

C'è un sentiero ben marcato per chi volesse optare per questa salutare passeggiata (è possibile giungere in cima anche con l'auto).

A metà percorso ci siamo imbattuti in una scultura che guarda la città in un grande spiazzale dove abbiamo, poi scoperto si celebra la messa in estate, un panorama mozzafiato!

Successivamente abbiamo raggiunto il primo monastero di Santa Scolastica, eretto da San Benedetto in onore della sorella Scolastica (organizzano visite guidate gratuite all'interno che vale la pena fare!)

Dopo qualche altro km abbiamo raggiunto il Monastero dedicato a San Benedetto eretto dopo la sua morte attorno a quella che si dice essere la grotta in cui Benedetto si rifugio vivendo tre anni in solitudine. 

Il monastero è meraviglioso, sia per gli affreschi interni, sia per la posizione che ti permette di ammirare un paesaggio naturalistico stupendo, sia per la costruzione dello stesso monastero perfettamente compenetrato alla montagna!

Consiglio a tutti di passare per questo piccolo paesino e approfittare di queste meraviglie, se andate in auto al riento potreste passare da Tivoli un alto piccolo paese incantato, dove tappa d'obbligo è la meravigliosa Villa d'Este che vi ho mostrato anche nel post "Roma".

Spero che queste informazioni vi possano dare qualche spunto per qualche giro che avete in mente di fare, e spero di avervi trasmesso la stessa armonia e piacere che ho provato durante quest'ennesima piccola avventura.

LA ROUTE DES VINS, ALSAZIA

Hello everyone! today an amazing experience I suggest to all of you: the way of wine in France. It's very easy to organize this travel, I usually use low cost flight, because there are many flights of this company which depart from all part of Italy. I took Ryanair from Trapani to Paris Beauvais, there we rent a car and here the story started... 150 km to the east of Paris, in a gently unulating landscape extends the bubbly Champagne who gave his name to an exceptional wine. At the gates of Strasbourg, the vineyards of Alsace meet the sweet name of Riesling, Gewurztaminer, Tokay, Pinot gris, Can antything else be more pleasant than car travel in these two wine regions located in the North-East of France? Today I'll show you the stages of Alsace I did in September 2009 with my parents before start my Erasmus project in Strasbourg. Starting from Colmar, the city of Alsace wines cardle of an exceptional heritage. Go around the medieval town, along the flowered canals and in the Unterlinden museum that preserves some of the treasures of the Gothic painting, is a unique experience. Colmar is also a suitable gastronomic stopover to taste some Alsatian specialities such as choucroute (sauerkraut), fois gras, baeckeofe, coq au riesling..Going up the road to the north of Alsace wines to get to Strasbourg, you will discover the typical Alsatian villages, Sigolsheim, Kayserberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Obernai, Molsheim, as well as charming villages that conceal the winstubs (bar thet sell wine), the half-timbered houses and paths that penetrate through the vineyards, skirting the slopes.The Alsatian landsacape is sculpted in my heart, all the beauties surrounding the landscapes help to make it looks like a lovely village of fairy tales. Enjoy! Pinot gris, Bretzel, wine-flavoured jam and gugelhupf Ciao a tutti! oggi vi propongo la meravigliosa Via del vino, in Alsazia! Questo viaggio l'ho fatto nel settembre del 2009, insieme ai miei genitori, giusto prima di cominciare la mia avventura Erasmus a Strasburgo.Ho sempre nostalgia di questi meravigliosi posti che inaspettatamente mi hanno rapito il cuore! Non avevo ancora la mia relfex, quindi scusatemi in anticipo per la qualità delle foto. Organizzare questo viaggio è semplice, per chi parte dall'Italia, i voli low cost, che personalmente tendo sempre a preferire ( ti permettono di viaggiare molto e a poco prezzo!) arrivano nei posti più disparati dell'Europa. Sono partita da Trapani per Parigi Beauvais, abbiamo noleggiato la macchina e così è cominciato il cammino: a 150 Km ad est di Parigi, in un paesaggio dolcemente ondulato si estende la spumeggiante Champagne che ha dato il suo nome ad un vino d'eccezione. Alle porte di Strasburgo, i vitigni d'Alsazia rispondono ai dolci nomi di Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Tokay Pinot grigio', niente può essere più gradevole che percorrere in vettura queste due regioni vitivinicole situate nel quarto Nord-Est della Francia. Al vostro passaggio scoprirete delle piccole e graziose cittadine e alcuni dei migliori vigneti francesi. Prima tappa, Epernay, capitale incontrastata dello champagne e passaggio obbligato per una visita alle cantine. Durante un appassionante viaggio sotto terra, percorrerete solo una minima parte  di centinaia di chilometri di gallerie scavate nel suolo gessoso dove sono depositate le migliori bottiglie di eminenti case di Champagne, Moët et Chandon, De Castellane. Non dimentica di fare una deviazione per Hautvilliers, villaggio pittoresco ove potrete visitare l'abbazia dove un certo "Dom Pérignon" inventò nel XVII secolo l'inimitabile champagne. Seconda tappa, regale, Reims. A partire dal battesimo di Clodoveo nel V secolo, tutti i re di Francia sono stati incoronati in questa città che conta quattro magnifici monumenti classificati come patrimonio mondiale tra cui una cattedrale gotica di grande bellezza. Anche qui, un tour nelle cantine delle prestigiose Maisons Pommery, Veuve Cliquot, Ruinart è d'obbligo. Approfittatene ugualmente per divertirvi lungo una delle numerose strade turistiche dello champagne. Al sud, Troyes, è l'altra capitale dello champagne, agghindata con case a colombaia uscita da Medioevo. Un'incantevole strada dello champagne attraversa la Côte de bar dove potrete apprezzare l'ospitalità dei viticoltori dell'Aube che vi accoglieranno con un calice di vino a portata di mano. Su un circuito segnato di 220 Km potrete fermarvi a caso in una delle 26 cantine che reca il marchio "Point Accueil" in cui spesso i viticoltori stessi vi riceveranno, vi parleranno con passione delle fasi di elaborazione dello champagne, vi riveleranno i segreti di questa pozione prestigiosa e inimitabile e avranno piacere a farvela degustare. Dopo Chaumont, Vesoul, Belfort, ecco infine le tappe dell'Alsazia che oggi vi mostro. Partendo da Colmar, la città dei vini d'Alsazia culla di un patrimonio d'eccezione. Andare in giro per la città medievale, lungo i canali fioriti e nel museo Unterlinden che conserva alcuni tesori della pittura gotica è un'esperienza unica. Colmar è anche una tappa gastronomica molto indicata per gustare alcune specialità alsaziane come choucroute (crauti), foie gras, baeckeofe, coq au riesling... Risalendo verso il nord la strada dei vini d'Alsazia, per raggiungere Strasburgo, scoprirete i villaggi tipicamente alsaziani, Sigolsheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Obernai, Molsheim... oltre che borghi affascinanti che celano dei winstubs (bar che vendono vino), delle case a colombaia e dei sentieri che penetrano nei vigneti, fiancheggiando i pendii. Il paesaggio Alsaziano mi è rimasto nel cuore, si respira genuinità, freschezza, bontà e tutto sembra un adorabile villaggio delle fiabe.
