MILANO

Hi guys! As I promised you I'll show you the rest of my trip in Milan.

After a beautiful day in the Lake of Como, the day after I went around Milan, which with a sunny day  is a beautiful city! It wasn't the first time for me there, I went with Walter on September 2011 before leaving Italy for 4 months for the USA, and the second time for 24 h last December.

I'm going to show you a mix of these three trips, but most of the pictures are from last Monday.

I had the chance to try the best Calzone with tomato and mozzarella, in Panzerotti Luini, Via di Santa Radegonda, and probably the second best ice cream, after sicilian one of course, in Cioccolati Italiani.

Goodmorning from the Duomo of Milano, situated in Duomo Square in the center of the city. As you know this huge gothic church is the brainchild of about five hundred years of work (1387- 1813)

Piazza dei Mercanti. There is an interesting effects of voices, if you speacking in corner of the square your you can hear your voice from the opposite corner of the square, it says was used as a trick to market traders of the era

In the center of the Gallery you can see a bull, the symbol of Turin. The tradition says the bring good luck placing  your foot over the bull's attributes and take a 360 degrees rotation!

Amazing Panzerotto, the typical one is with mozzarella and tomato but you can there are many pthers taste!!! p.s.: pay attention to the crowd, people love Panzerotti from Luini!

View of the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, is called also "salotto dei milanesi" for the stylish atmoshpere full of  elegant shops, restaurants and trendy bars

Corso di Porta Ticinese, is at the end of Via Torino, one of main shops street, and is the main corner in which you can find the marvillous Navigli ( system of waterways that connected the lake Maggiore, the  Lake of Como, and the lower Ticino), the area of Navigli is also full of pubs, so very recommended!

Sant'Eustorgio Church, next to Porta Ticinese, is one of the most beautiful church in Milan

Gelati Italiani, in front of Panzerotti Luini in Via di Santa Radegonda, take a cone, choose which kind of chocolate you prefer on the bottom of the cone and choose favourite taste!

Via di Monte Napoleone, is one of the most important shops street where you can find all the big brands

I love these tram, old style, and the best thing is that you can organize a party into for all night long and goes around the city!

Ciao a tutti! come promesso oggi il mix di foto scattate a Milano. La maggior parte sono state scattate ieri e lunedì ma alcune le ho prese dal mio primo viaggio a Milano fatto nel settembre del 2011 con Walter prima di partire per 4 mesi negli States e le altre nelle 24h passate a Dicembre che rievocano molto l'atmosfera natalizia.

Non ci credevo, ma ha mangiato il calzone mozzarella e pomodoro più buono mai provato da Luini in una traversa del Duomo in Via Santa Radegonda e una goduria di gelato, da gelati italiani.
Ho deciso di accorpare le foto anche per darvi un impressione di Milano nelle varie stagioni...Personalmente la preferisco o con la neve e in atmosfera natalizia o a giugno periodo perfetto per godersi senza il caldo afoso n il grigio tipico milanese!

Hello everyone! I come back from Milan.

It'was a beuatiful trip...and the beautiful weather finally comes out!!There were 25 degrees...Summer!

I took as usual too many pictures, so today I'll post the day of Sunday that I spent around the Lake of Como! I've never been there before...It's amaizing!My friend Cecilia took me at the train station with her friend and we drove up to Moltrasio one of the small villagge around the lak. There we had a luxorious lunch in one of the best places I ever seen, "The Imperialino", with a beautiful terrace on the lake. After this super lunch we moved to Cernobbio where we found in Villa D'Este the famous "Concorso di Eleganza 2013" a famous exibitons of vintage cars and motorcycles since 1929, and this  year won the "BMW Trofeo" and "Coppa d'oro Villa d'Este" the beautiful Bugatti sc57 Atlantic.

Is a great event, for everyone, fans or not, very elegant and chic, so I suggest to all of you who want to go around the lake during the end of may to check the date of this expò!

Before go back to Milan we visited the small and cute city of Como, we had the chance to find a perfect day so the lake seems to be a mirror where you could admire the scenary around reflected in the water...so romantic!

And for today this is my point of view of lake of Como.

P.S: Another good restauranti in Moltrasio, is "La Baia", and if you want a good ice-cream in Como you have to try that one of Gelateria Lariana in Largo Lario Trento!

Buongiorno a tutti!! sono rientrata da Milano ieri sera, ho passato tre giorni fantastici! Sono arrivata Domenica mattina alla stazione Garibaldi e approfittando dell'inaspettata meravigliosa giornata sono andata con due amiche al lago di Como (1h di macchina da Milano). 

Il lago di Como, come molti di voi sapranno, è un lago lombardo naturale che ricade nei territori dei comuni delle province di Como e Lecco.

E' uno spettacolo mozzafiato con sopratutto con le belle giornate; infatti percorrendo le stradine immerse nel verde d'improvviso di trovi catapultata in questa realtà incantata di montagna che si riflette sullo specchio del lago! 

Siamo state a pranzo a Moltrasio in un ristorante super chic "L'Imperialino" con una terrazza meravigliosa sul lago (non potevamo tirarci indietro!), ci hanno servito come delle principesse (i piatti sono stati rigorosamente fotografati e, spero adeguatamente descritti).

Dopo pranzo ci siamo spostati a Cernobbio scendendo verso Como, e inaspettatamente abbiamo trovato un gran movimento, tanta gente e.... tante macchine d'epoca di lusso..  Abbiamo scoperto, con enorme piacere, che dal 1929 ogni anno, in questo periodo, si svolge a Villa d'Este, il famoso Concorso Internazionale d'Eleganza, che premia le più belle e lussuose macchine e ciclomotori d'epoca, per gli appassionati  e non è un evento da non perdere! A titolo informativo quest'anno ha vinto la Bugatti SC57 Atlantic, un'auto stupenda!

Nel tardo pomeriggio abbiamo fatto una bella visita a Como, perso un caffè in piazza, una passeggiata per le vie del centro, una visita alla mura della città tutto guarnito con un meraviglioso paesaggio!

Oggi vi regalo il mio punto di vista di questa meravigliosa giornata, per Milano ci vediamo tra un paio di giorni!

Ps. se vi trovate a Moltrasio un altro ristorante molto carino è La Baia, anche più accessibile come prezzi, e invece per un buon gelato a Como andate alla gelateria Lariana, proprio sul lago in Lungo Lario Trento.
